What is Momentum?
Momentum is a browser extension that transforms your new tab page into a personalized dashboard, displaying a beautiful background, daily focus, to-do list, weather, and inspirational quotes.
Pros
- Provides a calming and inspiring start to each browsing session
- Helps users set a daily focus and stay on top of their main tasks
- Customizable with various widgets and beautiful background images
- Integrates with popular task managers for consolidated views
Cons
- Premium features are behind a paywall, limiting advanced customization and integrations for free users
- Can become another source of distraction if over customized or used improperly
- Reliance on internet connection for full functionality and image loading
Who should use Momentum
Anyone who wants a simple, aesthetic, and functional way to set daily intentions and manage quick tasks directly from their browser's new tab page.
Who may not need it
Users who prefer a completely minimalist new tab page, already use a dedicated task manager with deep integration, or find visual dashboards distracting.
