1. Our commitment
Best Productivity Resources should be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or reduced motion settings. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML with a single main heading per page and a logical heading order.
- Full keyboard operation, including the cookie banner, search and every link.
- Visible focus outlines and accessible names on icon-only buttons and links.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and decorative images marked as such.
- Colour contrast checked against the AA thresholds for body and interface text.
- Layouts that reflow to small screens and to 200% zoom without loss of content.
- Motion is reduced when your system asks for it, and the back-to-top button returns keyboard focus to the page heading.
- The video tour has player controls and never plays automatically.
- Automated accessibility and keyboard tests are run during development.
3. Known limitations
- Third-party embeds, such as the live statistics panel and testimonial widget, are outside our control and may not fully meet AA. Their information is not required to use the directory.
- External websites we link to have their own accessibility standards, which we cannot guarantee.
- Some long directory pages rely on filtering rather than pagination, which can be verbose for screen-reader users. Improving this is on our list.
- The video tour has no separate caption track; the page lists in text everything the tour covers.
4. Report a barrier
If any part of the site blocks you, email the legal contact below with the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using. We acknowledge accessibility reports within 7 working days and treat blocking issues as a priority fix. If you need information from a page in a different format, ask and we will send it to you directly at slakhyani20@gmail.com.
5. Assessment approach
This statement is based on our own testing: automated accessibility checks run during development, keyboard-only walkthroughs of the main journeys, and manual review of headings, labels and contrast. It has not been reviewed by an external auditor, and we update it as the site changes.
6. Legal contact
Best Productivity Resources, operated by Shushant Lakhyani. All legal notices, privacy requests, correction requests, takedown notices and questions about these documents go to a single address so nothing gets lost.

- We acknowledge legal and privacy emails within 7 working days and aim to resolve valid requests within 30 days. Governing jurisdiction: India.

- Cookie Policy: the DataFast analytics entry now lists its session storage keys (datafast_session_id, datafast_visitor_id, datafast_pageview_state), cleared when you close the tab, and how it counts unique visits without cookies.

- Cookie Policy: added the optional bpr:prefs:<tool> storage entry for free tool settings such as the Pomodoro timer, kept only with preference consent.

- Cookie Policy: added the optional bpr-recent storage entry for the homepage's recently viewed strip, kept only with preference consent.
- Cookie Policy: added the __cf_bm cookie that Cloudflare, our hosting provider, sets to tell people apart from bots (expires after 30 minutes of inactivity).
