What gets a newsletter in, and how the numbers stay current.
A newsletter is listed only when there is public proof of success: at least 100,000 subscribers or 10,000 paying subscribers reported by the publisher or a reputable outlet, a public acquisition, funding or revenue figure, or a similar milestone. Every number links to the page it came from.
Subscriber counts are the figures the source reported on the date shown. Most are the publisher's own numbers and are not independently audited, and they come from different dates, so treat the rank as a rough guide. The rank covers total subscribers only. Newsletters that publish only a paid subscriber count, or no number at all, are listed after the ranked ones.
Every day, part of the database is rechecked: links, subscriber counts, prices, owners and status. Changes are fixed the same day, and the whole database is covered every week. New newsletters are added only after their facts are checked.
This database is general information, not investment, business or legal advice. Newsletter names belong to their owners, and a listing is not an endorsement. Spot something out of date? Let us know and we will check it.
