1. The short version
Some links on this site may earn us a commission or be paid placements. This never costs you anything extra, and it never buys a listing a better description, a higher ranking or a review it did not earn.
2. Where money can be involved
- Featured section. The featured block above the directory may contain sponsored or affiliate links. Everything in it is a productivity resource we consider trustworthy and would happily recommend regardless of any arrangement.
- Affiliate links in listings. Some directory listings link to the product through an affiliate link, which may pay us a small commission if you sign up or buy. These links are labelled "Affiliate" next to the Visit link on the listing, its page and any comparison, and they are marked
rel="sponsored"for search engines. - Sponsored slots. The slots at the sides on desktop and the strips at the top and bottom on mobile are paid placements. Empty slots link to our booking page; booked slots link to the sponsor. Full rules are in the Sponsorship & Advertising Policy.
- Our own products and services. The site promotes the operator's own work, such as paid mini guides on Gumroad, the newsletter and custom build services. These are clearly ours and are never presented as independent recommendations.
- Direct support. Readers can support the site voluntarily. That support has no effect on editorial decisions.
3. What money never buys
- Inclusion in the main directory, which is curated on merit only.
- A more favourable description, rating or comparison outcome.
- The removal of an accurate criticism or limitation from a listing.
- Protection from being delisted if a resource stops meeting our standards.
- A place in a comparison, a best-free list or a collection, or the free Featured badge.
4. How we label paid placements
Paid placements sit in the clearly labelled featured area and the sponsored slots. Affiliate links inside listings are labelled "Affiliate" right next to the link, so you know before you click. Links that are not labelled are ordinary editorial links; they carry referral tags that tell the destination the visit came from this site, but they earn us nothing. This disclosure is linked from the footer of every page, from the Privacy Policy and from the Terms of Use.
5. Your costs and your choices
Affiliate links never increase the price you pay. If you would rather not use one, you can type the resource's name into a search engine and visit it directly; the listing is the same either way.
6. Advertising and sponsorship enquiries
If you want to discuss a featured placement, email the legal contact below with your product, the placement you have in mind and your timeline. We decline anything we would not personally recommend to a reader.
7. Legal contact
Best Productivity Resources, operated by Shushant Lakhyani. All legal notices, privacy requests, correction requests, takedown notices and questions about these documents go to a single address so nothing gets lost.

- The exact page address or listing name your request relates to.
- A clear description of the request (access, correction, deletion, takedown).
- For rights requests, the email address you used with us so we can match the record.
- For takedowns, proof of ownership or authority to act on the owner's behalf.
- Response time
- We acknowledge legal and privacy emails within 7 working days and aim to resolve valid requests within 30 days. Governing jurisdiction: India.

- Cookie Policy: the DataFast analytics entry now lists its session storage keys (datafast_session_id, datafast_visitor_id, datafast_pageview_state), cleared when you close the tab, and how it counts unique visits without cookies.
