Single-tasking explained

Multitasking on demanding work is really fast switching, and every switch costs time. Single-tasking keeps all of your attention on one problem until you reach a natural stopping point.

It works best with a simple rule: one window, one task, one goal for the session.

Try it today

  1. Close every tab and app you do not need for the task.
  2. Put your phone out of sight.
  3. Work until a set stopping point before checking anything else.
