The directory additions from 8 October are all native Mac apps: three utilities that change how macOS feels day to day, a calm sound app for resetting between meetings, a support inbox for software founders and a menu bar manager for Claude Code. Features and pricing change, so check each tool's own page before you commit.
Mac utilities
Droppy turns the area around your Mac's notch into a Dynamic Island with live activities for music, meetings, uploads and volume. It adds a file tray where you can drop, zip and convert files, a clipboard history, a floating media player and 41 free extensions, and it works on Macs without a notch too. It is not free on Mac: it costs a one-time price, and it syncs with the free Droppy app for iPhone. There are many features to configure at first.
Maccelerate is a free, native macOS app that speeds up the transitions you use all day, including switching Spaces, Cmd-Tab, Mission Control and App Exposé, with speeds and shortcuts you control. It keeps System Integrity Protection enabled, runs locally and its code is MIT licensed. Note that it only changes animation speed, not how fast your apps themselves run.
Calm and focus
Shhepit plays short, calming sound sessions to help you decompress after meetings and clear your head: pick how you feel and start a reset in a few clicks. It is currently a free beta, installed through TestFlight, and needs macOS 14 or later.
Customer support for founders
Moorline is a native Mac support inbox for software founders that works with any IMAP mailbox. It tracks which customers still need a reply after you investigate, fix, refund or ship something, with a Needs me view, per-product filters, diagnostics and a Focus mode. It costs $9 a month with no free plan and needs macOS 15 or later, so weigh it against the size of your support load.
Claude Code
Wasdy is a free menu bar app for managing Claude Code. You can switch skills on and off, search and install skills from a marketplace into the right folder, and add, test, enable or remove MCP servers, with a global shortcut (Cmd+Shift+K) to open it from any app. It needs macOS 15 or later and focuses on Claude Code rather than other agents. As with any skill or MCP server, check what you install before enabling it.
