The directory additions from 12 October cover two main areas: tools for running AI agents, and a large set of resources for designing websites with AI coding tools, from prompt libraries to component kits and inspiration galleries. Features and pricing change, so check each tool's own page before you commit.
Running AI agents
Festival is an open-source framework for working with AI coding agents. You write down what you want, break it into structured work, and loop agents through it until the outcome is reached, while keeping token use down. It works as a set of agent skills and shell tooling under the Apache 2.0 licence, and it is a young project that needs some comfort with the terminal.
AgenticOS is an open-source control layer for running company AI agents on your own infrastructure. It manages skills, context files, access to MCP servers, budgets, approvals and an audit trail, so teams can use agents with their own models and policies. It is built on Pydantic AI and released under Apache 2.0, but deploying it takes engineering effort.
Pydantic Deep Agents is a self-hosted terminal AI assistant, similar in spirit to Claude Code, together with the Python framework behind it. It supports tool calling, sandboxed code execution, multi-agent teams, skills and checkpoints, and works with any model through Pydantic AI. It is free under the MIT licence, and you run and maintain it yourself.
Overtime runs AI coding agents autonomously over many sessions from a single brief rather than a chat. It is in early development under the MIT licence, and long agent runs can use a lot of model credits, so set limits before you start.
Two further additions also lean on AI agents. MCP Gateway is a self-hosted gateway, shipped as a single Rust binary, that lets an AI client reach many MCP servers and APIs while the agent only sees a small set of meta-tools, which saves context; personal and non-commercial use is free, while commercial use needs a paid licence. EasyEDA MCP Pro lets agents such as Claude inspect EasyEDA Pro schematics and PCB layouts, run design rule checks, source parts and prepare manufacturing exports. It uses the PolyForm Noncommercial licence, so commercial use needs permission from the author, and any design changes should be checked carefully before manufacturing.
Personal assistants and knowledge
OpenInstinct is an open-source personal assistant you message through iMessage. It can use a web browser to handle everyday tasks such as booking tickets or ordering groceries, while your passwords, cards and context sit in an encrypted vault. You deploy it to your own Vercel account and it works with any AI model. Letting an agent act and pay for you needs careful setup and limits, and it depends on Apple's iMessage.
myPKA is an open-source personal knowledge assistant that lives in a folder of plain Markdown files. It is built on the ICOR productivity method and works with AI tools such as Claude Code or Cursor, so your knowledge stays portable. It works best if you follow the ICOR approach.
Designing with AI coding tools
Impeccable is a free, open-source design skill and toolkit that helps AI coding agents produce better front-end design. It records your product's purpose and audience, offers commands such as polish, audit, critique and animate, and runs detector rules that flag common signs of generic AI-made interfaces. A CLI and browser extension can run the checks without an AI model.
DesignMD.ai is a community library of hundreds of free design systems written as DESIGN.md files, a format that tools like Cursor and Claude Code can read. Quality varies between community files, so review one before you adopt it. M3E Canvas is a free browser tool for laying out screens with Google's Material 3 Expressive components and turning the layout into a prompt for an AI coding tool, with an interface in English and Japanese.
Three prompt libraries help you build page sections. Jiro pairs real website designs with ready-made prompts for tools such as v0 or Bolt, with some free templates and premium content on a paid plan. VibePrompt is free and pairs UI layout prompts with ready-to-paste Tailwind CSS code for heroes, pricing tables, FAQs, forms and dashboards. Scrolltide focuses on scroll-driven templates and prompts with motion; full access is a paid subscription with regional pricing, and heavy animation is not right for every site.
React components
Arc UI is a library of animated React components and page blocks for shadcn and Next.js, installable with the shadcn CLI or built by an AI tool from its AI-readable docs and MCP server. affectUI offers React components, screens and blocks for AI products and SaaS apps, each a single file with no dependencies. Both have free items, and their full libraries need a one-time Pro purchase.
Web design inspiration
Unsection is a section-first inspiration library: you browse curated hero, pricing, testimonial, footer and other sections and save favourites to folders, with a free plan and paid options. BentoGrids collects bento-style grid layouts, Footer.design gathers website footers sorted by type and style, and 404s.design collects creative error pages. These three are free to browse and offer inspiration only, not code.
These are only some of the tools added recently. Browse the full directory to filter by category, type, pricing and goal and find the right fit for your work.
