What is Ix?
Ix parses a repository into a persistent graph of symbols, calls, imports and relationships that stays on your machine between sessions. Commands such as ix explain, ix trace and ix impact show what a piece of code touches, how a flow runs and what breaks if you change something. Coding agents like Claude Code and Codex can query the same graph through MCP instead of re-reading files every session. It is open source and installs on macOS, Linux and Windows.
