What is Hugo?

Hugo is a static site generator written in Go and built for speed and flexibility. It has a built-in development server with live updates, asset pipelines for CSS, images and JavaScript, multilingual support, and a taxonomy system. Prebuilt installers or instructions cover macOS, Linux, Windows and several BSD systems.
