01

Why tell untold stories with AI

Many stories never get told because filming them costs too much: family histories, local legends, cultural myths, and personal journeys. AI video platforms such as Higgsfield let one person turn those stories into short films.

Higgsfield has shown this itself. Its film Hell Grind premiered at Cannes in May 2026, and its animated short Kök Börü premiered at SIGGRAPH in July 2026, in a session about where untold stories find new pipelines.

The tools are new. The power is still in the story only you can tell.

02

Find your story

  • A family memory or migration story
  • A legend or myth from your culture
  • A turning point in your own life
  • A forgotten local hero or place
  • A story from your community that deserves to be heard
03

Shape it into a short script

  • Keep it to one to three minutes
  • One main character and one clear change
  • A strong opening image
  • Three acts: setup, struggle, turning point
  • An ending that stays with people

Help me turn this memory into a two-minute short film script with five scenes, one clear emotional turning point, and narration in my own voice. Do not invent facts about real people.

04

Plan your shots

Write a shot list for each scene: what we see, the camera angle, the mood, and the line of narration over it. Short, clear shots make AI video easier to control.

05

Build your characters and world

  • Create characters in Higgsfield, or use Soul ID for consistent faces
  • Use reference images for places, clothing, and objects
  • Keep one visual style for the whole film
  • For real people, use only faces you have permission to use
06

Direct scenes in Cinema Studio

Higgsfield’s Cinema Studio lets you cast characters and reference them with @ in scene descriptions, so they keep their roles across shots. Describe each shot like a director: subject, action, setting, camera, light, and mood.

07

Choose your video models

Higgsfield brings many models together, such as Seedance, Kling, Veo, and Wan 3.0. Try the same shot in two models, pick the best look, and stay with it for the whole film.

08

Add voice and music

  • Narrate in your own voice for authenticity
  • Use a licensed AI voice only with consent
  • Pick music that fits the culture and mood
  • Add sound effects for place and atmosphere
09

Edit it together

  • Assemble shots in order
  • Cut out anything that does not serve the story
  • Add captions and, if helpful, translations
  • Upscale the final cut if needed
10

Tell it with respect

  • Ask family members before sharing their stories
  • Consult people from the culture you are portraying
  • Separate what is true from what is imagined
  • Avoid stereotypes
  • Label AI-generated scenes where platforms require it
11

Share it with the world

  • Post the full film on YouTube
  • Cut short clips for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok
  • Enter AI film festivals, including Higgsfield’s own festival when entries are open
  • Share with communities connected to the story
12

Mind the costs

Video generation uses credits, and longer films use more. Plan your script and shots first, test with short clips, and check Higgsfield’s current plans and offers before you start.

The golden rule

Do not let AI tell the story for you. Let it help you show the story only you can tell.

  • Story
  • Script
  • Characters
  • Cinema Studio
  • Voice
  • Respect
  • Share

Write down one story from your family or culture this week and turn it into a five-scene script.
