What is JSONPlaceholder?

JSONPlaceholder gives you ready-made endpoints for posts, comments, users, todos and more, so you can test fetch calls, tutorials and prototypes without building a back end. It supports all the usual HTTP methods and returns realistic JSON. It is free, needs no sign-up and is widely used in coding tutorials.
