Grok Bot
Grok Bot now remembers your logins, cards and contact details
This sounds small, but it's the thing that kept breaking errands halfway through. You add your logins, cards and contact info once, and your Bot keeps them for next time instead of stopping mid-task to ask for your address again. If you've been babysitting your Bot through checkouts and sign-up forms, this is the fix you were waiting for.
Episode 1 of the Odyssey series, made with Grok Imagine, is out
Back in September the Imagine team showed a pilot of Homer's Odyssey made with no cameras and no sets. Now Episode 1 is live, made with the AI studio Wonder Studios and director Dev Walker. The team says it will post a full breakdown of how it was made if enough people ask, so keep an eye on the replies.
Grok Bot can now use Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and more on your phone
Your Bot just moved a little closer to your actual life. On iOS and Android it can now work with your phone's Calendar, Reminders, Contacts and other apps. It's rolling out now, so update to the latest version of the Grok Bot app to try it.
Instead of pasting passwords into chat, you approve the specific 1Password logins you want to share and your Bot signs in for you. It's the sensible way to hand an agent access: you pick exactly what it can open. The integration is rolling out over a few days, so don't panic if you don't see it yet.
This one is for companies building on Grok. There are two kinds of partner: Transformation Partners who help big customers roll Grok out, and Marketplace Partners who build the plugins and integrations. More than 130 companies took part in early access, and engineers at over 30 organisations have already been trained through the Forward Deployed Engineer programme. Applications are open at x.ai/partners.
Grok Bot can now build reports, memos and dashboards
Ask your Bot for a page and it makes one: a report, a memo, a dashboard. The nice part is that it doesn't end there. You can edit the page together, or leave the Bot to keep it up to date. It's rolling out on the latest mobile and desktop apps.
How SpaceXSI uses Grok Bot to spot incidents and clear the ticket pile
SpaceXSI's own support team built two Bots for outages. IncidentWatch looks at the last 15 minutes of tickets every five minutes and shouts when lots of people report the same thing, sometimes before engineering alerts even fire. IncidentSweep then finds every affected ticket and replies in one approved batch. During one incident on 18 September it cleared 204 tickets in about 10 minutes, with one engineer signing off.
Press a button, talk to your Bot. On an iPhone 15 Pro or later, update Grok Bot to version 1.16, then go to Settings, Action Button, swipe to Shortcut and choose Grok Bot, Start Voice Chat. It's a small thing that makes the Bot feel a lot more like an assistant you actually call on.
A big quality update. Computer tasks now finish about 3x sooner on average, and replies to everything else arrive in less than half the time. Voice calls are faster and remember past chats better, notifications only go to the device you're using, there's a refreshed design, and you can now tag @bot in a post on X to put your Bot to work.
New Grok Bot connectors, X Chat access and an open connector marketplace
Grok Bot can now connect to Robinhood, Coinbase, Trello, PostHog, beehiiv, eToro and more, and teams can submit their own connectors to the Grok Bot marketplace. It can also read X Chat once you connect X, so you can ask it to work across your messages. Bot email also picked up plus aliases, so a routine can run only on mail sent to one address.
Grok Voice 3.0: SpaceXSI's smartest voice model yet
Grok Voice 3.0 is a speech-to-speech model built for real phone calls. It ranks first on Artificial Analysis's Speech-to-Speech Index with 86.9 and answers in under a second. Starlink call centres already use Grok Voice for about 20,000 calls a day, and roughly 70% get resolved with no human in the loop. It's in the API and Voice Agent Builder at $0.08 a minute, the same price as before.
The X Subscription bundles Grok, Grok Bot, Cursor and X Premium
One plan now covers chatting and creating in Grok, getting work done with Grok Bot, coding in Cursor and the X Premium perks. There are five tiers, from Free up to Ultra, with paid plans starting at $8 a month and a shared pool of Grok model usage across Grok and Cursor. If you already pay for SuperGrok, Cursor or X Premium, you can keep your plan or switch and get a prorated refund.
Your Bot can now have an inbox of its own. It can use it to sign up for services, email businesses for you or set up a time with someone, which keeps all that noise out of your personal inbox. To claim one, just ask your Bot or tag @bot on X. On team plans an admin has to switch it on first.
SpaceXSI calls Video 1.5 Lite the new workhorse for text-to-video and image-to-video in the API. The pricing is the headline: $0.02 a second at 480p, $0.03 at 720p and $0.14 at 1080p. Great for drafting lots of shots cheaply before you spend on the final render.
Connect Shopify and you can ask your Bot to check orders, track inventory and keep product listings up to date. For a one-person store, that's the boring daily admin handed to something that doesn't get bored.
A new Agent Dashboard in Grok Build puts all your agents on one screen
If you run more than one coding agent at a time, this is for you. The refreshed dashboard shows every agent in one top-down view, lets you start tasks in parallel, and Ctrl+W runs an agent in its own git worktree so they don't trip over each other. Open it with grok dashboard, or /dashboard from any session.
You build a Team Bot around a shared job, give it the files, plugins, credentials and memories it needs, then share it so everyone works from the same context. Each person's chats with it stay private, and it can sit in Slack with its own handle. Inside SpaceXSI, every major sales account has its own Team Bot that briefs the account team each morning.
"Cars used to just take you to work. Now they do some of it on the way." You can now use Grok Bot and Connectors from your Tesla. Sign in to the Grok app in the car, add connectors from your phone or the web, and you need SuperGrok to get Grok Bot.
How SpaceXSI scaled customer support with Grok Bot
When Cursor joined SpaceXSI, the two support teams merged and tickets went up 175%. Instead of hiring (they reckon it could have been 200 people), they put Grok Bot to work, starting with internal notes only and human approval on every write. They now resolve some tickets for as little as $0.20 to $0.30 each, against the $1 to $4 per resolution that typical AI support tools charge.
Grok 4.7 is SpaceXSI's strongest model for coding and knowledge work. It's built on a larger base model, trained to stick with long, hard tasks and check its own work, and it's priced the same as Grok 4.6 at $2 per million input tokens and $6 per million output. It's live in Cursor, Grok Build and the Grok API.
