What is FontDrop?
FontDrop lets you drag a font file into the browser to see every glyph, the font's metadata, language support, OpenType features and variable font axes, plus a waterfall preview. Nothing is uploaded to a server, and it is free to use for checking fonts before you install or ship them.
Pros: what FontDrop does well
- See every glyph at once
- Clear font metadata
- Runs locally in the browser
Cons: where it falls short
- Inspection only, no editing
- One font at a time
Who FontDrop is for
Designers checking fonts before using them in a project.
Who can skip it
People who rarely handle font files.
